walking animation

Using the interaction created by @Thamriella (i hope you do not mind?) to use it as a way to show me how the walking animation is done. and to create it along side the original, so far i was only able to, well slide animate my character.

next part is to get the legs moving i'm guessing this will be quite tedious in getting the legs moving without the thighs twisting around and having a mind of its own.

any comment of suggestion for this would be helpful. or if anyone want to play about it with it themselves in getting the legs to move so i can see the different outcomes for myself to work with again cool.

I create the walk cycle with the character walking in place, and then I add it to the path to see how much the feet slide on the ground. Then I put the path weight back down to 0 and tweak the cycle again. Rinse and repeat until it looks good.

The hardest/most tedious part is to mirror the walk cycle poses once you've made one leg pass the other.
