This! This feature is best waifu!
This would be one of the best additions to the cloud
This would be phenomenal
This would be great!
Also a pose repository would be nice too.
Why does this need to be built streamlined in to the fabric of the already byzantine asset fetching and processing scheme as it exists. I warn you, look to second life for how these great little ideas turn in to monstrous catalogues of twenty year old content with twenty UUIDs attached to an asset tracing creator, owner, trail of ownership, permission masks, date created, it becomes an exponential nightmare someone tries to "fix" every few years and every "fix" is a patch on a patch on a patch on a piece of chewed up gum sticking two conflicting yet coexisting paradigms attempting to do the exact same thing in two completely different ways and it's all wrapped in a clobber of duct tape and it still works. sorta. with "server maintenance" virtually every week forever. a Sisyphean trap that refuses to perish yet refuses to give up the ghost either https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/UUID
I would strongly suggest making any kind of asset sharing system SEPARATE from the core function of the basic asset system. keep it isolated from the main asset catalogue. whatever you do, under the surface keep. it. isolated. it can appear to be a unified module in the UI but in the gear room, if any of you used SL for a long time and became interested in its inner workings - you will heed my warning
@Chyanna
This, like all of it...
should be able to have something similar to miaxmo's saved rig positions or etc which ive seen examples of but im not sure how difficult it would be to implement, my code work is meager so i cant really judge.
