Charlotte Bunny
derivative of @FurryVNE_Team 's Charlotte, wearing a costume based on @Static_snowflake 's halloween bunny costume for YL.
it's one of my favourite skins for my favourite YL character, so I thought I'd translate it over into FVNE.
as always, criticism welcome :)
Updated 2024-02-06:
rigged the hairband, ears & tail. couldn't be asked to do the hair (yet)
Oooh, nice!
You have absolutely no idea how nice it is to see my work remade! DUDE THIS SHIT IS AMAZING!
I honestly though the old bunny suit for Charlotte in YL was long gone and forgotten. But not only people actually used and enjoyed it but also brought it to VNE in full 3D glory! Man, i´m so happy right now!
One tip for the garments in general, if you want to hear it. If you want a clothing to have a shape key that shows certain parts and you don´t want the rest of the mesh getting it to way, there is a neat way to do that.
Let´s say i make panties that i want to chance to croinless ones in shape key. I make the panties, but i cut the inner part off so it is not connected to the rest of the mesh. Then in shape key i just take the inner part, shrink it and move it inside the character so it is not visible. Port it to VNE and vola!
@anon_hours
once again you did a great job!! Keep it up, you're welcome to edit characters from me too!!
I would be happy ;P
@Static_snowflake
I'm glad u got a kick out of this :)
thanks for the tip, I'll see later if I can clean it up some more. I already did a similar trick to what u described, and while inside the character is messy, it did not show on the outside of the mesh in a number of poses so I decided to call it. it's a good tip
@THeGERio
I might look into it.. ;p
Stellar work. The clothes are par excellence, bearing no awkward artifacts and looking seamless, if you'll pardon the pun. Smooth and svelte design, accenting Charlotte's innate charms. I hope you will continue to contribute and possibly post some tutorials on how to achieve such results.
The fishnets too are fantastic. I know how tricky transparencies can be.
@Diplocaulus
I never really thought about doing tutorials, as I still consider myself a beginner in Blender, but I might get around to it :)
thanks for the compliments
