Bilraleth - Sleep Paralysis Demon V.2
1 2 - Es hilft dir kein Geschrei!
3 4 - sie ist schon gleich bei dir
5 6 - noch heut holt dich die Hex.
7 8 - starr vor Pein bei Nacht.
9 10 - du wirst Morgen, nicht wieder seh'n!
The horror, the horror.... I surrender to it.
(Unfortunately, translating the rhyme into English is beyond my modest abilities;I beg your indulgence.)
A big thank you goes to @SteelCrow13 for the basic idea!
I actually wanted to get it out on time on January 1, 2024, but the fine-tuning took even longer.
-The outer skeleton 1 and 2, must first be activated in the garments-
Updated 2024-01-27:
- the Vertx mask problem is solved
(if you create a smoothing mask and then change the model THAT causes problems of course)
- added a few small emotion options
Whoa, okay now that's impressive! She is definitely a creepy and otherworldly lady, that's for sure. When you said that my character, Umbra, inspired you, I didn't think you meant that much! And here I was thinking about updating Umbra with more spikes and teeth.
@Vandred Woow Krass, was hast du denn da wieder gemacht <3
Interesting design! Really gives off uncanny vibes.
But when i loaded the model I got a message of "Vertex masking is invalid for Robe Basis".
Nothing on the character seems of but might be something to check out before interactions is out.
@Static_snowflake
I'm aware of this (I just have no idea why it keeps happening), I only notice errors like this when the character is reloaded.
But when I uploaded it, it was just 5am, so already a bit more willing to compromise! :D
There's also a small bug with the feet.
@SteelCrow13
I deliberately wanted to do without spikes and teeth, which make the apparition look more like a lurid predator, but something sinister is fascinating and threatening at the same time, like a "shadow on the wall".
I hope I have succeeded!
@Vandred
Yes, I would say you did!
Personally I want Umbra to have that "predatory animal from another world" look, like she's still very feral and primal, but sapient and sentient enough to talk and communicate. She's a cunning and sadistic (and horny) demon, but moves and behaves much like an animal, almost a demon version of Gollum from Lord of the Rings.
I do love Bilraleth though. I like the interesting direction you are taking her. You just keep going your way with her and I'll go my way with Umbra.
That's how it should be! ;) "Thumbs up"
