About Thea

Thea is a thrumbo, so she's a pretty big girl. Standing at 8'3" tall (8'10" if you include her horn), her measurements are a generous 83"-40"-101". She'd rather not divulge her weight, but our consulting physician estimated it at "ouch holy shit ouch move please miss" when she stepped on his foot.

Having just arrived from her home on a frontier world at the galaxy's edge two years ago, she's still got a thick Rim accent and sometimes mixes up her words, but she's learning quickly -- her enthusiastic and curious nature makes her an eager student.

Thea's most profound passion is dancing. Her polite, softspoken exterior melts away the moment she sets foot on the dancefloor, and through the language of movement she communicates her emotions and desires with a preternatural grace and fluency. She had studied ballet since childhood but reluctantly gave up her ambitions as a teenager, when it became clear that her fellow ballet students (as well as the stage) were in mortal peril.

Most of Thea's time is dedicated to fashion design. It began as a necessity when she couldn't seem to find any cute clothes in her size, but it quickly evolved into a genuine interest and the beginnings of a successful career.

About Thrumbos

Thrumbos are mysterious creatures found across a wide variety of planets in RimWorld. Described by some as gigantic draconic unicorns, these peaceful mammalian creatures subsist on a vegetarian diet (including whole mature trees) and can live to be centuries old.

Apart from their size, their most defining features are their luxurious white fur and their razor-sharp horns. While the species' origins and deeper nature remain a mystery, rumors about the thrumbo are widespread: it is believed that the thrumbo is the most intelligent species in the galaxy; it's also said that they can speak, but choose not to.
