而奥西里斯则在这一击后迅速衰老，化为了干尸。只有他的心脏仍然还鲜活。而阿努比斯则细心地将这颗存有诸神回忆和精神的心脏保存好，在将干尸吃下后，也随即堕入了地狱。而在后来以阿努比斯的血和内脏而重获新生的生命，则被唤作Mamon，所有埃及神的最后一位子嗣，因对生命的渴望从而降生。

因为众人就是他的老师，众人认为他邪恶，所以他便贪婪成性。不过阿努比斯则一直在告诉Mamon何为节制，何为生命的平衡。随着他的Mamon的成长，他的贪婪和隐忍则帮助他成为了七位地狱圣人中最具有智慧和谋略的一位。而阿努比斯则作为命运执政官中的“节制”。正所谓，“生命于死亡中诞生，而死亡又因生命而存在。”不管是曾经作为冥界使者，还是现在作为命运执政官，他一直在维持着两者的平衡。

阿努比斯从不将自身的眼光放在这些地狱领主的过家家游戏上。他也知道了曾经的太阳神，拉并没有死，而是化为七十二位所罗门恶魔领主中的Amon，二十二位命运执政官中的“愚者”。秘密计划着自己的行动。而阿努比斯，则愿意化为这个计划中看的见的棋子，掩护他的行为。除此之外，他也拉拢和撮合了与他曾经职责相同的人。“黎明福音”Koxui，“高塔”Remiel。这三位对死灵和死亡颇有见解的人经常秘密会面。而打听他们计划的人和物将会被直接抹杀。
