Inanis
There is a saying, "When you stare long into the abyss, the abyss stares back." While the saying is a metaphor for evil, the being that lurks in the darkness is very real.
When your closet door is left open while you sleep.
She is there...
When you turn the basement light off and no longer feel alone.
She is there...
When you feel something brush against you in the pitch black.
She is there...
Inanis is the name of the being that resides in the dark. Throughout history, countless stories and never ending fear are born from the unnerving darkness and what unseen horrors lie in it...
Thankfully, Inanis is more of a prankster than a monster. Usually causing trouble ranging from slanting picture frames, creating a loud noise in the dead of night, and the occasional fake spider web stuck on your face.
how did you do the cell shading? she looks great!
@Adorimable
Sure!
After creating your character, use the export function to bring it to Blender. Once imported in Blender, apply a solidify modifier for anything you want shaded (I used a thickness of 0.002m) and export to VNE as a cloth. Be aware that this will create A LOT of triangles for your character so you may need to use the decimate modifier too. When the "cloth" is imported into VNE, go to the shading/materials tab and select "Front-Face Culling."
Ears and tail can be done by creating an additional part in said part tree with some scaling. Try to limit parts to a single bone using the physics tab if you want physics. Repeat the shading/materials step for the bigger part.
I shortened it assuming you know how to navigate VNE and Blender. Please let me know if you run into any problems.
