the tattoo body markings of the savage Wolven people can vary by tribe, in both appearance , and their nuanced meanings. this is merely a collection of the most commonly seen, and their most commonly interpreted meanings as gathered and recorded by the inquisition.
colors- the paints are applied most commonly in red or white though blue has been cited in rarer cases the classes they represent are nuanced and varied by tribe , but in most cases red marks indicate active fighters, whether fighting by combat, or by other means. white markings tend to indicate more mature classes, craftsmen nobility and even ritual hunters
neck band- a mark that indicates a wolf originally from outside the tribe, now a member.
spiked stripes- believed to be for great accomplishments or participators in great hunts battles or other tribal endeavors can by found anywhere on the body.
