Get ready, because Grisha the Capoeria Master is kicking down your door!

If there was one anthe in all the world that the least likely to ever find themselves in the confined, wet, and cold streets of the RLD, it would have been Grisha. She loved the little island community of Coochie Cove her family had been a part of for generations. She lived for the feel of the warm island sun on her fur, the salty spray of the beach's surf, and the sweet tropical fruit her island was famous for as a dessert like delicacy. More than any of that though, she had an unbridled love and talent for the traditional martial art that had been passed down through her family just as long as they had lived on Coochie Cove. With her lithe but sturdy frame and unrivaled flexibility, Grisha was a natural. And while the martial art was just that, Grisha always thought of it as the most beautiful dance. Every leg strike and spin was just another step in the resplendent combat waltz this breathtaking art. By age 15 she was the strongest practitioner on her island, but still sought to improve, practicing everyday with her father, uncle, brother and mother.

Some may have looked at her life and called it simple, small. Grisha did become curious from time to time about the mainland, and even visited it once or twice with her family when she was much younger, to see some of their cousins. They would ask her what living on the island was like, especially her youngest cousin Raksha. Grisha would tell them that she was happy, surrounded by friends and family on her island, and could never have imagined wanting more from her life than that.

That all changed the day the Saw Tooth Gang came to their island. A group of ruthless loan sharks led by the worst villain to plague the 7 seas, Sambone Sawtooth. A massive greatwhite shark with a greed not even the bounty of the ocean could satisfy, he and his gang took over the island. They began extorting the islanders, "taxing" them on the money made from selling the exotic fruit and fish the island was famous for, under the guise of it being protection from other violent gangs. Grisha and her family bravely tried to fight back against the invaders, but outnumbered, even their impressive skill wasn't enough. While minimally inconvenienced by what he mockingly referred to as their "little rebellion", Sambone was amused her family's attempt at "being heroes". And much to her and her family's dismay, Sambone also started to take notice of Grisha's naturally beauty. He would continually offer to give her family special treatment if she became his woman. Time and again she refused him, but he only ever smiled his horrid sawtoothed grin at her saying that he had all the time in the world to wait.

After a year of the Saw Tooth Gang occupying the island, Grisha couldn't take it any longer. She had been sending letters to her cousin Raksha in secret for several months asking her for any kind of help she could find. Raksha told her that their were some amazing people on the mainland, particularly in the section of the city she lived in, the RLD. Gangs ran rampant there too, but many were filled with strong fighters and anthe's with abilities that would easily crush Sambone. However, most had no desire to leave RLD. Raksha's partner was willing, but Grisha didn't want to put Raksha or them in danger by coming to the island alone. Raksha wrote back that if Grisha could find a way to make it the to mainland, they could work together with her partner Merra, and find a way to free the island. Thankful for her cousin's support and after working out a plan on how to meet, Grisha managed to sneak onto one of the cargo vessels that periodically came to the island to purchase produce. She arrived on the mainland a week later and was met by Raksha and Merra at one of the Anthropolis loading docks. Despite the circumstances, the cousins delighted in being reunited.

Grisha also quickly saw that Raksha had in no way exaggerated the power of the anthe's living in the city and especially the RLD. Merra with her fire and ice, the indomitable Don and leader of the Blood Scales, Firellus and Veetra the Shadow Fox and legend of the Underground Arena were just a few of the names that floated around the RLD. Merra explained to Grisha that the anthe's of the RLD respected strength more than anything else, and that the only way to convince any others to come to the island with them to fight was to show them hers. After sparring a little to test her abilities and to Grisha's surprise, Merra told her that she was actually quite strong. Apparently this Sambone must have been on the level of one of the Don's of the RLD if she hadn't been able to win. Together, Merra, Raksha and Grisha began to plan how to win over enough anthe's to free Coochie Cove. To help her support herself, Raksha got Grisha a job at the Foxhole as a dancer. She quickly became a favorite due to her exotic beauty and captivating display of Capoeria as a dance routine.

Most days however, you can find Grisha fighting in the Underground Arena to grow stronger, meet and impress new fighters, and recruit allies to help her save her family and home!
