From the not-too-distant future, Neka is a furry sex worker at the virtual brothel called "The Ranch". She's also a model and stars in adult films produced by her partner, Max. She's 24, British, and polyamorous bisexual.

She's very competitive and something of a workaholic. She has a bit of a reputation as a narcissistic, self-centered asshole, but that reputation is largely unearned. She's just too emotionally guarded to be able to relate to most people through anything other than competition, and to that end, doesn't necessarily mind if some people are intimidated by her.

Her partner (in business and in life) is Max, but he's also close friends with her rival Beth, which causes some amount of friction between the two women. Max is largely oblivious to this, of course, as Neka doesn't want to drive a wedge between Max and his friends, but it's also a little bit because she doesn't want to admit how threatened she sometimes feels by the carefree panda.
