Event that counts timeline repeats
A counter for how many times a timeline is repeated before moving on to the next step would be great as it saves a lot of animation time.

Seems like something that should be universal for any timeline event, i.e. a general property for every event where you can specify how many times the event must trigger before actually firing the related actions.
This kind of ties in with my suggestion of having a simple macro scripting language, for timeline events. Execute a small script that can access user-defined variables and take an action based on them. I was thinking it would be cool to be able to bind variables to sliders (or access the property by pathname) so you could increase/decease speed or depth based on loop count or other things like that. GotoScene("Name") or GotoStep("Name") particularly.
But really if you don't want procedural behavior you could just set your timeline to interpolate and have another timeline repetitions * duration length after which the related actions fire.
The macro idea was more for properties that would be randomly determined before the interaction starts, like how horny each partner is or how aggressive they are or whether they have a hair trigger or are multi-orgasmic or how experienced or other randomly determined properties. Maybe they like it slow, maybe they like it fast.
easiest way i found to do that its just creating another timeline that just has an event that changes step.
so you animate everything in timeline nr 1 that loops in 3sec
so you create another one and make it (3sec x 5times) 15sec and at the end add event with changing step
