Sound System Rework
The sound system will receive a major rework, essentially being rebuilt from scratch—not only to ensure its proper functionality but also to allow us to implement custom sounds in the future.
The following issues will be addressed (most of them concerning Red Light District room vs outside issues):
-Currently, we are using both FMOD and the Unity sound system, which consumes more performance than necessary.
-In some situations, you can be inside a building while still hearing outside sounds—or vice versa.
-There are multiple areas where camera placement affects sound in unexpected ways.
This issue becomes even more noticeable when moving the camera across the map, especially when passing through walls into areas with different sound environments.
-Rooms connected to outdoor areas do not properly model sound transitions. In some cases, outside sounds are either missing entirely or do not sound as if they are coming from outside.
-Some music areas fail to trigger audio playback unless the camera is positioned in a very specific location.

custom sounds is big yes. the current limited preset sounds are very restrictive. without proper foley, scenes really feel quite empty no matter how well you animate them. I'm sure people would also like to be able to add voice acting in-engine rather than in post.
