AnimateProperty events are broken?
I tried to use AnimateProperty events to set the weight of a timeline with a probability, but cannot figure out how to set the property in the first place, which might be a bug.
This has a lot of overlapping terminology so bear with me:
When the TimelineEvent is selected, both the Outliner and Properties windows are occupied by the event's details. This means you can't drag a character/timeline/driver into the "Property" field of the AnimateProperty. I have not found another way to set the property field, so I think this is a bug?

If you right-click the AnimateProperty object, you can choose Open In Floating to open its properties list in a floating panel. Then you’re free to navigate to any other object in the outliner without having to worry about the AnimateProperty properties disappearing.
If you’re on the unofficial Discord server, I can post a quick video demo if you’d like.

That worked, thank you! Didn't realize things other than timelines could be opened in floating windows.
To add to the suggestion then: Maybe timeslines and events should have a more obvious button to open them in floating windows, since that functionality is rather essential but also hidden away. Perhaps in their properies panel?
Regarding the Discord, I've tried joining many times, but even when I make a new Discord account and clear Discord's cache, it only gives me a "oops unable to accept invite" error. Very sad.

Yes, well add a button inside the object properties.
