Graph / Curve based editor for interaction timelin

Introducing the curve editor we already have for various sections of the app to the interaction mode.

One idea would be to replace the current right click menu options like "smooth", "hold" and so on for the keyframes on the time handle with a graph editor for custom interpolation.

I would like it, and that is 'achtually' "Spline" in a sense.
My personal issue with a Graph editor is that I dont think it would be easy to implement, aaand it would add more clicks when editing an interaction.

A graph editor has more implied editorial features than just curving something smoothly. In some contexts, not only does it smooth the movement, it also changes the position or effect of said thing it edits.

My suggestion would be a "Custom Smooth" or Custom anything.

In the image example of Custom Smooth, you see an Ease out, Midpoint and Ease in when the Left keyframe is selected.

Ease out and Ease in nodes can be dragged far and closer to the keyframes to adjust the amount of ease there is. Additionally, the "midpoint" can be dragged closer to the left key or right key. This midpoint is the middle point of the positioning between the two key frames.

My example and suggestion to this is basically if you had
One key "Ease out"
Middle Key "Ease in"
Final key

The real difference is that, my wittle system is more user-friendly to that idea, and allows for the adjustments of the ease.

You can expand this idea with Custom Bounce, Custom Elastic, etc.
Give us a little more control of each key effect.

I just think a full graph editor can make things more complex. Heavy and careful use of 'Spline' actually can accomplish what you want out of a Graph Editor in FVNE. Its just... difficult.

In the case for Custom Spline, I would do something more like This. That way, you can adjust to how much the spline key curves towards from the first key, or curves towards to the next key.

Cus spline is actually just the curve point in FVNE.
