while i love how much we can do with the camera already and i can see that there are already more things considered to add for functionality there is one thing that i would hope for:

The option to fade the camera to black/white or blur the camera view to allow for smoother transitions between steps and especially scenes. Those can be somewhat sudden and jittery when different characters or locations are involved.

I am by no means a technical person so all i can suggest is maybe to add a plane in front of the camera that can be adjusted by opacity to add the fade effect? For the blur i dont know enough to say some easy solution.
