Shortcut to collapse/expand all menu expanders

A lot of the time I go into a character's Properties or the Outliner for a specific thing. Since all the expanders/sub-menus are expanded by default, you have to keep collapse them one-by-one or scroll through it.
What if holding Ctrl + clicking on an expander toggled all expanders? For example, for a selected character under Properties, if you Ctrl + clicked the expanded "⌄ Expressions" you would also collapse "UserExpressions", "Character", etc. Under the Outliner if you Ctrl + clicked the collapsed "❯ Scenes", you'd also expand "Audio", "Objects", etc.
That's the jist of it. Perhaps this would only affect expanders at the same level. So maybe this wouldn't expand/collapse every expander under a character under Objects if you used this feature on the Outliner. Some nodes have nested expanders under Properties as well, like the individual fingers on hand nodes.
