Make expressions exportable to blender

As there is currently now way to get expressions out from Furry-VNE into blender I'd like to ask if it would be possible to export all expressions ("ue_") alongside the custom offset for blender to edit.

Of course you can extract the expressions via local assets inside of the custom offset file, but this file is a fvne-exclusive file which blender can't open. You can't adjust or edit any of the information contained inside this file.

I know that we can also transfer shape keys but this transfer tool needs a existing character with shape keys on. If you don't have a character with shape keys this one won't help you out.

I believe that a expression export tool would open a lot of doors, especially once we start to animate.

This is a great idea! im not really the best at doing expressions but. this might be useful.

Nice to hear that you think the same way. Yes, expressions are definitely hard to do and if you can export those it would give people a head-start. We all started small with FVNE, taking templates from dogson and adjusting those. Now, with expressions we could do the same thing for everyone :D

One workaround I have found for this limitation is that you can create a Bind Pose using the sliders you want to have access to in custom offsets, then create an Custom Offset AdjustableGroup using that BindPose, then export the Custom Offset file from there. You can use this to generate a shape key on the default Custom Offset file. It's a pretty convoluted process, so I think it would be nice to just have those sliders by default like you suggest, but I just thought you might like to know one way around it.

This sounds interesting! Gotta try this one for sure though it might take a while to get done if we are talking about like 20 different expressions :P
