"Greetings, I am Shiranui, at your service!
I am the goddess of the sun, protector of Kamiki Village and slayer of the serpent demon Orochi. Well this all sounds so glorious but I almost lost my life back then. My wounds have been treated by a Kitsune named Kaji and his familiars so I decided to stay with them for a while longer enjoying the peace for a little while. It wasn't meant to last long though...
Some dragon raiders came and burned down Kaji's domain and slaughtered many of our friends ultimately claiming Kaji's power by cutting one of his tails. Now he left to take revenge on the woman who is called Eilidh, “Lord of Fire” and I also will pick up my weapons once again to aid my lifesaver even if that means that I for once have to work together with those demons I despise so much...

I'm really happy you like her and @THeGERio: the very moment I saw your Silliah I immediately thought of one day turning her into Amaterasu/Shiranui and now I finally managed to get my vision done ;)
Also I do believe I finally found my true place around here.
We all are 3d-artists but for me it is the "artist" that started to grow on me more and more over the past months. We can all benefit from that. I can turn my visions into reality and you get stuff to play around.
So, by all means and from now on, let's do ART! :D
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the female incarnation of Shiranui named Amaterasu?

I'm right now finished with the article inside the forum so I'll copy you a little something from that:
"Who the hell is Shiranui???
This character originates from the game called Okami and most of you know the main protagonist called Amaterasu, the white wolf and goddess of the sun.
Shiranui is the historical hero who saved Kamiki Village one hundred years prior to the start of the game. He is at full power, wielding the Solar Flare Reflector and exuding a long, pure white mane of flowing energy. Like his later incarnation, Amaterasu, he does not speak.
In this article Shiranui is referred to as "he" so it was most likely a male wolf but for creativity's sake I changed the gender."
