Physics: Parts with two controllable points.
Ability to create a part in which both ends of something like a rope or chain are positionable / snappable and physics is simulated between both points.
Example: A collar where the collar is connected to a characters neck and the other end is being held on anothers hand (using the CTRL snap method.
or
Cum strand in which both ends are CTRL snapped to each body to create a sticky fluid looking effect.

Yes, I can recall a short internal discussion about exactly this from two years ago.
Back then, we decided to leave bone chains the way they are now and placed it on a low priority list for later feature implementation.
So long story short, it's highly likely that we will investigate towards this in the future.
for this, maybe it would be a good idea to use the bones of objects with physics and choose from those bones two (or more) nodes that would be the ones to parent to another surface, or object, or part of a character.
